Does this product also have styling properties? If not, is it ok to use with say a clay or styling cream?

This product thickens by placing a protein solution on the hair which is not very effective. I do not recommend it. It can however be used with a styling gel etc..

does it produce new hair growth

ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT PRODUCE NEW HAIR GROWTH. COATS HAIR WITH PROTEIN TO ACHIEVE MINIMAL THICKENING.

How do you apply it,and does it make hair greasy and weigh it down?

Spray on damp hair and blow dry. Does not leave hair greasy but coats it with a film of starch protein which has a dulling effect on natural hair shine. I found that it did not increase thickness very much. I now use Crew firm styling gel and it has a thickening effect which is greater than this product.

Aveda is CG friendly! Aveda consists of natural products silicones, alcohols, sulphates etc. are not in the products of Aveda.

Can it be applied to dry hair?

I spray a little on dry hair when ever I need to add some styling. It certainly gives volume and a curl will stay in. Perfect for applying to hair the days after washing. It doesn’t seem at all effected applied to damp hair after shampooing. I never want to be without this

says spray thoroughly all over, dry as normal. I did this yesterday and my hair felt like I had gel in it. Had to wash out. what am I doing wrong?

Hey there, I spray it in my wet hair and massage it in with my fingers before drying. If I want extra thickness I dry my hair (80%) and give it a light spray and then fully dry it using a brush. If you do this it shouldn’t feel sticky or crunchy (like using gel) but it will feel a little on the dry side.
