Is this cream suitable for children (4 years old)
Yes I would say absolutely fine as you can use on burns and sensitive so it safe for young skin. I used it for my daughter when her lips used to crack and she was 6 at the time. It's what I call magic cream. It's brilliant.

This is the thickest product I have every used but think off it as more of a 'mask' than an everyday moisturiser. I put it on at night and leave it to sink in overnight. What colour is the elizabeh arden 8 hour skin protectant,should it be like a light brown vaseline.
Thank you for your query. The Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant is an amber-coloured balm. It has a similar consistency to Vaseline, but is caramel in colour.

As far as I am aware, there is no SPF (sun protection factor) in the eight hour cream. you would have to use a seperate sun protection product. It is great for treating sunburn/windburn though. If you want an EA 8 hour product with SPF, try the ELIZABETH ARDEN EIGHT HOUR CREAM INTENSIVE DAILY MOISTURIZER FOR FACE SPF 15 (50ML) or EA does sun cream for the face which offers very high SPF protection (50).
