Nilaqua No Rinse Shampoo Bottle
Nilaqua no rinse, dry shampoo effectively cleans hair without water or rinsing. Ideal when traditional hair washing isn’t possible. Nilaqua shampoo is designed using it’s secret Towel Off Formula, especially for long term use and kind and gentle to the scalp.
Nilaqua is ethanol & paraben free, comes in 3 sizes:
Single use for infection control 65ml; 200ml averages 4-6 washes ideal after and operation and 500ml perfet for sustaining soft clean hair at home. No rinsing required, simply apply liquid to the scalp, massage to lift dirt and grease, then remove by thoroughly towel dry.

My mum has thin hair that is now quite greasy. She is way too poorly to wash her hair or have it washed normaly. Would this work?
Hello, yes this is perfect for where access to water can be difficult. Put it on, massage in, then towel off. It leaves hair clean and with a nice scent.

How many shampoos will it do roughly
Quite a lot, especially if someone has short hair. It only take a small amount to rub through the hair. If you use too much it makes the hair greasy. So a small bottle lasts ages. Carers use it for my disabled mother as it is an easy and none messy way to keep her hair clean.

My long thick dry hair needs washed1x/2weeks if brushed well. Would a wee bit rubbed into the roots work, or would my whole mane need soaked?
It bubbles up and is just like when shampoo is applied to wet hair. I would think it would make the dry long bit very knotty if you didn’t apply it to all your hair.

This product really is not suitable for washing long hair.. it takes a lot of effort, far far more than actually washing it your normal way, and then leaves a sticky/tacky residue that never seems to dry! Nilaqua is great for short hair that’s pretty sparse but not anything else. I would recommend that you use a dry shampoo spray though, like Batiste, as it absorbs the oils that build up and makes long hair look fresh for a good few days extra and take very little effort to apply. This shampoo doesn't have any distinct scent. I use it on my disabled wife all the time and gives a good shine to her hair.

I obviously dont have the bottle hence the reason Im asking for someone to look at the bottle and tell me the ingredients please - lol!
Aqua, TEA-laurel sulfate, propylene glycol, benzoyl alcohol, cocamidopropyl betaine, dehydro - acetic , acid , parfumerie benzoin acid , disodium edta , sorbitol acid , tocopherol . I hope this helps

How does this shampoo smell?
Bought this for my mother as she is frail and can't wash her hair. Have used it twice on her now, very impressed with it left her hair smelling fresh and clean. Would buy again.
