Thanks to the reviews for all three colours are mixed up. Not sure why they do this. Does anyone know which is the best for thick wavy hair?

I think it depends on the finish you want. I havent tried the others only tried red which is a shiny finish and i have thick (slightly waved) hair and it workes perfectly and holds in place all day. If you not sure you can buy mini ones i think and give it a shot.

Yes without difficulty but do use on slightly wet damp hair

How much does one use on a short ish side part ... ? Really no idea ! And does it give a good shine compared to say layrite which I find looks matt ?

Can the red one be used for a wet sleek backed look?

Yes it could be. It’s a good pomade, it gives good sheen and hold, and I’d rate it above Dapper Dan, Morgan’s etc. Apply to partly damp - not wet- hair and you’ll be fine.
