About Us
In 1911, Leo J. Wahl discovered the electromagnetic motor. He realized that he could use this kind of motor to make a medical massager for his uncle, J. Frank Wahl. As a student, Leo designed the massager and Frank began manufacturing them in a small plant in Sterling, Illinois.
Leo began selling this invention to barbershops. He recognized a need for improving barber tools by using this type of motor. In 1919 he took over the business and founded Wahl Clipper Corporation. Since then, our company has been in the hair grooming industry.

Is this suitable for use on the groin area?
Yes sure! Iv given the plumbing a trim a few times. Just make sure you put the guard on the blades! I cant even imagine the pain of getting some funsack skin caught in those... it would be like an industrial accident in a meat factory. Play safe

Can it be used to trim hair on the head or only facial hair?
I would not use it for trimming hair on the head. The attachments are not accurate or sturdy enough for that kind of work - however is you wanted an all-over zero setting then I still think it would not be ideal because it is too narrow. After saying all of that if the hair on the head is as short as a trimmed beard then I don't see any problem in using it to cut-in detail or shapes.

what grade are the 3 attachment combs?
I would suggest for beard trim only and it’s good quality , charging not last very long though.. grades up-to 1-3 With combs

I expect it works just as well on growlers. I use mine to keep my gentleman's vegetables tip top. Haven't had any complaints
