Is this the genuine product?

Bought this for my Husband for Xmas as he really likes Issey Miyake, he put it on on Xmas morning and I immediately told him to wash it of , it was nothing like his usual Issey Miyake infact it smelt more like a mixture of nettles and cat urine! very unpleasant, certainly not what I expected....

hi, I have just ordered and received this. I am a bit concerned that the packaging says 'tester - not for resale'. Why have I received it like this?
