Does this shampoo remove black hair dye?

Sorry I've no idea, I'm blonde and it removes my toner out if I use it a lot but not sure about black.

Yes, it can be used on coloured hair. I have blonde coloured hair, and frequently swim. The cleansing cream was recommended to me by my hairdresser to use once a week to get rid of chlorine build up. I use it less, and it works wonderfully.

Does this product help dry scalp

it doesn't dry mine but I only use it on average once a month as it take out all product build up.

Will this help strip hair colour?

I used it when I was bleached blonde and it was very gentle and effective. That all I can say. I hope it helps.

Is this silicone free? Also does it contain mineral oil, paraffinum liquidum, petrolatum or any petrochemical by-products? Thanks in advance.

I would also suggest you email Redken as it does contain a lot of ingredients! I have used it for years and am very happy with it.

Is this safe for colour treated hair or will it strip the colour too?

Yes it is. If I'm understanding the science correctly, colour lies on the surface of the hair and this shampoo cleanses inside the hair shaft. I use this once a week to prevent the build up of the various medications I take. My hair now the best its ever been in years, shiny health and thick, instead of dull and lank.

Does this shampoo sort of add volume from being so light? Got really fine hair and always used redken but the one I used has been withdrawn for volume

Its a deep cleansing shampoo and I use it to combat a build up of medication in my hair shaft. I don't know that it adds volume but my hair has never been in such good condition in ages and I use very little product to add volume now.

Will this help with very fine, limp, greasy hair? While fine I have a heck of a lot of hair and it goes flat and greasy within 24 hours.

I only wash my hair with this about once a month to get rid off build up of product and wash every day with the Aussie shampoo, but I can feel the difference for about a week. its not greasy at all. I would recommend this shampoo and conditioner to everyone.
